Super Model Lyla

Being the good Auntie I am I have taught Lyla how to pose for pictures! Since she was two years old I have been showing her all the different faces and poses she could make with her face. My sister-in-law, Erin, says she always thanks me for teaching her little girl to pose. At times Lyla can look like a total diva, but we still love this cute little girl!

I love this little girl to pieces!! When I was little my Auntie Terri used to say "Auntie is?" and I would reply "Pretty and smart!" I have started this saying with Lyla and use it quite a bit! Spending time with her is great! I love going to the movies with her or go out to lunch because she has so many "grown up" things to tell me (yes, she likes to be a grown up).

I am a HORRIBLE blogger...

...I haven't blogged for almost a whole entire year! I can't believe it. My goal is to start doing better at this whole blogging thing. So far life has been great! I graduated and now I'm officially a college student. I'm going to Utah Valley University and love every minute of it. Actually rewind. Next week is finals, so this week is lots of studying which I am not loving very much. I can't wait for Christmas break to come up!

Valentine's Date

The day started out great! Nicole and I made breakfast for Seth and Tanner. We made waffles, sausage, and bacon. The boys were pretty happy about having their girlfriends make breakfast since Nicole and I have NEVER done that before hehe. After breakfast while Nicole and I cleaned the boys were playing NCAA football so they had a fun time =)

After the boys left I went straight to the mall! This is a trick I have done several times... I go to Nordstroms and ask the makeup people if I can sample their makeup. I got my makeup and cover up by Bare Minerals! They did a great job..... and it was all free so yay for me! I got to look all dressed up for the Roof in Salt Lake.

The date was so much fun! One thing that made everything great is having my whole family, cousins and all, to help me find a dress =) thanks everyone!

I'm spoiled I know....

... I bet none of you could guess why I am super spoiled now days. Well I can tell you why =) 
This year I was fortunate to get one of those boys that does everything for you like buy you things, pick up yummy food for you, yell at when you're PMSing, and did I mention buy you things? It's called a boyfriend... just kidding =) I was lucky though to get a Tiffanys bracelet and necklace! For my 18th birthday Seth was in California with his family and he was going to make it home in time for my birthday but because of the "blizzard" that never happened his flight was cancelled. Yeah I was sad, I'll admit it but he did make it up by getting my some Tiffanys jewelry =)

Anyways all the cousins got the opportunity to go to temple square to see David Archuleta perform with the Mormon Tabernacle choir. The best part was Auntie Karma flew down for this event! We all got the great opportunity of riding trax with lots of stinky people hehe.


Before you look at the pictures I just want everyone to recognize how beautiful Auntie Karma looks in these pictures =) I had to warn her one day in advance that I would be taking lots of pictures of all the cousins at temple square so she has to be ready for it because they would be on facebook. She was a little iffy at first but she planned to wear a great outfit for the pictures!
